Bhuvan is a 3D, web based satellite imagery tool which is the Indian equivalent of Google Earth. Bhuvan allows you to view a detailed map of India, with all the roads and major towns and cities marked clearly. However, Bhuvan does have a few drawbacks. It’s incredibly basic and the image quality when you start to zoom in is very poor. Considering it was built without help from any other country or technology, Bhuvan is a testament to how hard the ISRO work and how far they are taking India in the world of space exploration.
